Kyneton racing tips

Each-way value is with Siam Emerald, who owns two placings from three starts this preparation.
The four-year-old son of Rich Enuff ran third at Pakenham last time out, and he should build on that effort.
Barrier three is ideal, so include him in picks.
Stake: 1 Unit
Very Torquee looks to cap off three consecutive placings with a win after running just behind them at Wangaratta and Wodonga.
The three-year-old son of Reward for Effort was only narrowly behind the winner last start, and we don’t think it will take him long to win.
It’s an even betting field, and it’s only the wide barrier going against him.
Stake: 1 Unit
A runner who will appreciate racing against easier opposition is Millennium Blade, who took on tough company last preparation.
The three-year-old son of Too Darn Hot placed behind Prince Tycoon, Salty Pearl, and Buccleuch in three city runs, which is top-level form.
He has since been gelded, so a big performance is likely.
Stake: 4 Units
Running at bigger odds than expected is Lowestoft, who placed at Ballarat and Geelong last preparation.
The four-year-old mare by Shamus Award didn’t fire at Sandown last start, but she might have come to the end of her prep.
We expect a tidy effort at value odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
There isn’t much form to speak of in this race, and it’s about time Alpine Fox scored a maiden win.
The four-year-old son of Foxwedge had solid betting support in five runs last campaign, and he wasn’t far off the mark in every run.
He is good enough to take advantage of this field.
Stake: 1.5 Units
The four-year-old mare hasn’t been far away in four career starts, including a second placing at Bendigo two starts back.
She ran fifth fresh up at Pakenham, but that came in heavy conditions, and she should be better back on a firmer surface.
There isn’t much covering this field, so include for value.
Stake: 1 Unit
Prestige Ole runs at better odds than expected, and although his form this prep hasn’t been ideal, the change in stable could help.
He showed good speed early on when winning two of his first three starts, and recent racing has come at much higher levels.
3kg comes off his back, and although he’s a risk, the odds are too good to pass up.
Stake: 2 Units
Money has come for Calypso King, who hasn’t done much wrong this preparation, including a win at Warrnambool.
The five-year-old son of Dark Cove comes off a third placing at Warrnambool, and he’s tracking towards another big performance.
After opening at $9, he has been specked to win.
Stake: 1 Unit
The four-year-old mare by Harry Angel could make a winning return after some pleasing jumpouts, and punters get each-way odds to enjoy.
She gets a 3kg claim off her back from Olivia East, who could have a big day, and she’ll likely settle on the speed and give a good kick.
Running on a good surface adds to her appeal.
Stake: 1 Unit
We have backed El Tercero a few times this season without success, and we’re going to the well once more.
The four-year-old son of Super Seth ran second at Kyneton two starts back, and having recent form on the track is a bonus.
He only needs a touch of luck from the draw to go close.
Stake: 1.5 Units
