His win two back at Sha Tin came over Rubylot, and with four wins from six starts, there’s no doubting his class at Group 1 level.

The Hayes-trained runner got the better of Packing Hermod last time out, so we’re not leaving him out of calculations.

He has shown his ability this season with two wins and a placing, and if he finds cover from the draw, he’s good enough to beat this field.

Punters get value with Divano, who won consecutive races earlier this prep before running eighth behind Rubylot.

He was only 2.8 lengths behind Rubylot in the Racing Club Cup, and he could sneak under the radar with bookmakers.

The former European ran second in the Gimcrack Stakes at York and he won with James McDonald riding two back at Sha Tin.

The former Australian ran second in his Hong Kong debut behind Mickley, which followed Group 1 efforts in Australia.

He won well four back but his form since hasn’t been overly impressive. We can’t see him figuring in the finish.

Mickley is a former European who comes off a win at Sha Tin, but we’re not sure if he can repeat that effort.

Having Hugh Bowman riding helps and he’s a first four chance at best, but only include in first four bets.

The four-year-old hasn’t been too far away recently, but his form would need to improve significantly to win.

The future is bright for My Wish, but we don’t think he’s good enough to win at Group 1 level against the best age-group runners in Hong Kong.

A betting push on race day would make for interesting reading, but because of the quality of the field, we’re leaving him out.

He’s a speedy customer and bred for it, so he could figure in the finish at double-figure odds.
