The four-year-old mare by Zoustar is bred to be better than average, and getting the inside draw only adds to her appeal.

The three-year-old son of Lucky Vega ran second at Hawkesbury behind Taxation, which should be a solid form guide for this race.

The four-year-old mare by Deep Field was no match for the winner when third last start, but she appeared to have needed the run.

She’s in good hands with Nathan Doyle, so include her in picks.

Inoue bombed the start at Warwick Farm, and he was never a chance after that. We’re happy to give him another chance in an easier race.

The four-year-old son of Shalaa owns two wins and two placings, so the ability is there, and he just needs to jump with them to have a chance.

Spirit of Wealth was another disappointing runner last time out at Randwick, but she’s good enough to turn that form around.

She ran well behind the likes of Monte Supreme and Chidiac, with the latter placing at Randwick on Saturday. She was the $1.70 favourite on that occasion, so expectations were high.

Coming off a good win is Luna Bay, who showed good fight close to the line to score by a nose at Kembla Grange.

The three-year-old filly by Hello Youmzain will only be better with two runs under her belt, so she should be tough to hold out.
