We have expert betting tips for racing at Happy Valley on Wednesday, which includes nine races at the midweek meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Hong Kong racing meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Happy Valley horse racing tips

Race 1. (20:40) Cochrane Handicap (1200m)

Jumbo Treasure looked good when winning two back at Sha Tin before finishing fourth at Happy Valley last time out.

He was only 1.2 lengths behind behind the winner last start, and there isn’t much to beat in this field on Wednesday night.

We’re happy to include him at any odds.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 2. (21:10) D'aguilar Handicap (1650m)

#4 – Windicator Family

Windicator Family scored a tough win two back at Happy Valley before finishing third last time out.

The five-year-old son of Press Statement is a three-time winner overall, and jumping from barrier three only adds to his appeal.

This race is there for the taking, so include him in horse racing predictions.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 3. (21:40) Glenealy Handicap (1650m)

#1 – Thesis

Thesis has been in work for some time this preparation, and he scored a good win five starts ago at Happy Valley.

The six-year-old son of Kingman is only a two-time winner, but he’s much better than that, which is why we’re sticking with him.

He’s bred to be better than average, and barrier two should be enough to take him close.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 4. (22:10) Glenealy Handicap (1650m)

#7 – Dragon Star

Dragon Star is a two-time winner from 33 starts, but after posting three consecutive second placings, he’s ready to win again.

The son of Pride of Dubai was only a nose behind the winner last time out, and getting Karis Teetan in the saddle adds to his appeal.

Punters should get each-way odds on race night.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 5. (22:40) The Sports Club Diamond Jubilee Challenge Cup (1000m)

#4 – Plentiful

Looking to get back to winning form is Plentiful, who won back-to-back races at Happy Valley earlier this season.

The five-year-old son of Capitalist was only a nose behind the winner two back before finishing 1.2 lengths behind the winner last month.

It’s good form, and although it’s a tough field, he should be right in the mix.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 6. (23:10) Cochrane Handicap (1200m)

#2 – Super Sixty

Super Sixty took 12 starts to break maidens, but since winning three starts back, he has since won again.

The four-year-old son of Written By won by a half-length last time out, and he’s good enough to kick on with the job.

Getting 3kg off his back is a positive, so he should run close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (23:45) Wyndham Handicap (1200m)

#5 – King Miles

Looking to cap off consecutive second placings is King Miles, who gets the services of Zac Purton in the saddle.

The four-year-old son of Exceedance is a three-time winner overall, and although yet to win at Happy Valley, it’s only a matter of time.

Carrying 55.5kg is ideal, so include him in Hong Kong racing picks.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 8. (00:15) On Lan Handicap (1650m)

#2 – A Americ Te Spesco

Gunning for three consecutive wins is A Americ Te Spesco, who won at odds of $21 and $17.

The six-year-old son of Per Incanto is a six-time winner overall, all coming at Happy Valley, so he knows the track well.

The Kiwi-bred runner has every chance of handling this field and winning three straight.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 9. (00:50) Wyndham Handicap (1200m)

#1 – Happy Fat Cat

Boasting two wins from his last three starts is Happy Fat Cat, who won by a half-length at Happy Valley last time out.

The six-year-old son of Shalaa is a six-time winner at the track, and getting barrier two adds to his winning hopes.

Punters should get each-way odds on race night.

Stake: 1 Unit
