Seeking back-to-back wins is Itchintogo, who showed good toughness to win by a half-length last time out.
The two-year-old son of Sun City is in good hands with Tony Gollan, and he doesn’t need to improve too much to handle this field.
The odds are short, so he’s worth including in multi bets to start the card.

By Choice made a big impact when winning on debut at Randwick, and that should be the best form guide for this race.
The two-year-old filly by Written By scored by a length over Masvingo, and we like the way she battled past the leader.
It’s not an easy field, but she could be the best of them.
Stake: 1 Unit
Punters get each-way odds for Crash the Party, who looks to cap off consecutive placings at Eagle Farm and Doomben.
The three-year-old filly by Brave Smash should enjoy getting in with a light weight, and having Craig Williams riding is a bonus.
She’s nearing a maiden win, and this would be a good one to win.
Stake: 1 Unit
We liked the way Scripted found the line after getting way too far back at Eagle Farm, and another win isn’t far away.
The four-year-old mare owns two wins and two placings from four starts, and rising to 1300m also helps her chances.
She’s good enough to beat the favourite with the right run.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Boasting two wins and two second placings from four starts is Cash, who comes from Adelaide with good form.
The four-year-old son of Snitzel has been primed with a fourth at the Randwick trials, and there is no reason why he can’t win on Saturday.
It’s an even field, so snap up the each-way odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
Miss Freelove comes off a Group 3 placing behind the talented Point Barrow, and that form bodes well for racing in Queensland.
The three-year-old filly by Tassort owns two wins and three placings from seven starts and getting in with 55kg on her back helps.
She’s classy at best, so include her in picks.
Stake: 2 Units
It’s best to ignore the recent form of You Wahng, who is much better than what her last two starts suggest.
The four-year-old is a three-time winner from 11 starts, and the pace of the race hasn’t suited her recently.
Her odds are drifting, but we’re happy to take the better odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
Payline has experience racing against some of the best going around, and although beaten at Eagle Farm last start, he was strong to the line.
The five-year-old son of Shooting to Win has the class advantage with over $1 million in the bank, and he doesn’t need to improve to beat this field.
Take the $2.90, which is a fair price from bookmakers.
Stake: 2 Units
Sylph will need to improve to beat this field, but trainer Michael Freedman believes she is the best maiden runner in Australia, and he could be right.
She ran second behind Grafterburners last start, and there is a big difference between $2.40 and $16, so we’re taking the better value.
Barrier three is ideal, so take the odds, and the $3.60 to place is also a good price.
Stake: 1 Unit
The four-year-old showed good pace to win fresh up at Eagle Farm before adding back-to-back placings.
He has yet to race at Gold Coast, but it’s a track that should suit, and getting in with 53.5kg makes him tough to hold out.
$3.80 is a fair price from bookmakers.
Stake: 1 Unit
