Punters get good value horse racing odds for the Victorian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Geelong racing tips

Race 1. (11:55) Ladbrokes Owners Bonus Maiden (2418m)

#2 – Kazungula @ $2.25

Kazungula is threatening to win a race after three placings from four starts this preparation.

The four-year-old son of Fiorente ran second at Swan Hill last time out, which is the best form guide for this race.

We expect him to go close with 3kg off his back.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 2. (12:25) Right Mate Maiden (1212m)

#4 – Parish Priest @ $6.00

Parish Priest ran well on debut for second at Cranbourne, and it shouldn’t take him long to win a race.

The well-bred two-year-old colt by Wootton Bassett runs at value odds of $6, which is much better than the odds we expected.

We would have been happy with something around $3.40.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 3. (13:00) The Man Walk Geelong Maiden (1212m)

#13 – Navy Nina @ $2.55

Navy Nina was spelled immediately following a debut second at Seymour, where she settled back before hitting the line with purpose.

The three-year-old filly by Proisir has been given a soft trial to prepare for this race, and it’s good to see money come for her.

She only needs luck from the draw to put them away.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 4. (13:30) Modano Classic Maiden (1512m)

#16 – Yes I Know @ $3.10

Yes I Know was scratched last week, but           he has found a more winnable race on Friday at Geelong.

The Freedman-trained gelding ran second on debut at Sale behind Flag Flyer, which should be a good form guide for this race.

Getting the inside draw should see him control the speed and kick well.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 5. (14:00) Fleet Plant Hire Solutions Maiden (1512m)

#14 – Star Angel @ $1.80

Star Angel is worth including in horse racing multis at the short odds, following a second placing at Bendigo fresh up.

The three-year-old filly by Toronado was a short margin behind Just Jenni, and that form bodes well for this race.

Barrier 17 hurts, but she’s the class runner of the field.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 6. (14:30) The Man Walk Torquay BM58 (1412m)

#6 – Signor Bill @ $7.50

Signor Bill doesn’t have the greatest form this preparation but he’s worth allowing another chance in this race.

The three-year-old son of Saxon Warrior owns a win and four placings from 11 starts, which came earlier in this career.

Give him another chance at the odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (15:00) How Are You Out of 10 BM58 (1412m)

#11 – Princess Toro @ $5.00

Each-way odds are with Princess Toro, who ran third fresh up at Cranbourne behind Highlands.

The three-year-old filly by Toronado is bred to win a few races, and she has yet to run worse than second over the distance.

The form bodes well, so include her in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 8. (15:30) Tell Your Mates You Love Them BM64 (2418m)

#8 – Sun Gift @ $5.00

Sun Gift put the writing on the wall last time out at Sandown when finishing well for second behind Slane, who has since run well.

The four-year-old mare by Savabeel owns a win and a placing from three starts at Geelong, and she has time to find cover from out wide.

Include her in picks at the odds.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 9. (16:00) Geelong Cup After Party BM64 (1212m)

#2 – It’s a Yes @ $5.50

It’s a Yes is another each-way runner at Geelong on Friday, and he’s good enough to put this field away.

The three-year-old gelding by Yes Yes Yes won back-to-back races at Ararat and Moonee Valley last start, which is good form.

1.5kg comes off his back, so take the $5.50 before money comes for him.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 10. (16:30) Join Now GRC BM58 (1715m)

#3 – Lygon Street Luigi @ $9.00

Lygon Street Luigi didn’t fire at Geelong last start when finishing sixth, but that followed four consecutive second placings.

The five-year-old son of Australia is much better than a one-time winner from 19 starts, and we’ll keep backing him until he wins again.

3kg comes off and punters get nice odds.

Stake: 1 Unit
