The five-year-old son of Pierro is a two-time winner at Eagle Farm, and there has been plenty of money come for him.

That’s a good sign, so back him in the opener.

Cherry Rose isn’t always the most consistent, but she owns six wins from 12 starts, so her winning record is impressive.

The four-year-old mare by Press Statement has yet to fire in two starts at Eagle Farm, but her best form comes on soft tracks.

Her odds have shortened, so it could pay to take the price.

Race 3. (12:53) Living Turf Queen Elizabeth II Cup (2400m)

#3 – Immediacy @ $3.10

Gunning for three consecutive wins is Immediacy, who won at Mornington before handling a good field at Caulfield.

The four-year-old gelding by Tarzino owns five wins from 12 starts, and winning in Queensland shouldn’t be too difficult for him.

2400m has tripped him up, but we’re happy to include him in picks.

Race 4. (13:28) Sky Racing Lord Mayor’s Cup (1800m)

#2 – Regal Azmon @ $7.50

We have been impressed by Regal Azmon in Adelaide, scoring two good wins at Morphettville, and he’s good enough to win at Eagle Farm.

The seven-year-old son of Magnus is an eight-time winner from 23 starts, and his turn-of-foot is good enough to beat this field.

Having Craig Williams in the saddle adds to his appeal.

Race 5. (14:03) Aquis Stallions Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m)

#2 – Gallo Nero @ $4.40

Gallo Nero has been around the mark throughout his fledgling career, including a win at Randwick and a last start placing at Doomben.

Running second behind Cool Archie is a good form guide, and he was only a nose behind, so he can turn the tables.

Punters get each-way odds to lap up, so include him in picks.

Floozie is gunning for her fourth consecutive win after scoring twice at Eagle Farm and at Gold Coast last time out.

The four-year-old mare by Zoustar is unbeaten here, and although there is more depth to this field, she’s good enough to handle it.
