gobet eagle farm racing tips

We have expert betting tips for racing at Eagle Farm on Saturday, which includes 10 races at the premier meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Queensland meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Eagle Farm racing tips

Race 1. (13:18) Season Greetings from BRC BM70 (1200m)

#12 – Joppa Lane @ $11.00

Joppa Lane could run better than what his odds suggest, and he could hit the ground running this preparation.

The four-year-old son of All Too Hard owns two wins and four placings over the distance, so starting off over 1200m is up his alley.

Take the generous odds in the first.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 2. (13:53) Nova 106.9 BM78 (2400m)

#3 – Rattle and Hum @ $4.20

Rattle and Hum comes off a second placing at Eagle Farm, and he’s not far off going one better.

The six-year-old son of New Bay is only a three-time winner, but coming to Queensland should see his win rate improve.

Getting the inside draw with 2kg off his back could be enough to win.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 3. (14:28) Sky Racing BM70 (1600m)

#11 – Carpaccio @ $3.20

Carpaccio was beaten at Sunshine Coast last start, but the five-year-old gelding hit the line well enough for second.

That was a good follow up run from his win at Ipswich, and although yet to win at Eagle Farm, the track should suit him.

After opening at $6, strong money has come his way in the market.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 4. (15:03) XXXX C6 (1825m)

#3 – Perfect Play @ $6.50

Punters get value odds for Perfect Play, who was too good for them at Doomben earlier this month.

The six-year-old son of Siyouni owns four wins and 18 placings overall, which is an impressive record, so the odds should be shorter.

We rate him at $4.40, so take the value odds with bookmakers.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (15:38) Doreen Bird BM85 (1000m)

#4 – Pre Eminence @ $4.40

Shooting for his fifth win this season is Pre Eminence, who keeps running well, which is why he’s still in work.

The five-year-old son of Exceed and Excel won at Eagle Farm last start, and he has since been primed with a trial placing.

2kg comes off his back to help with the weight, so include him in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 6. (16:17) Magic Millions B.J. McLachlan Stakes (1200m)

#2 – Zip Lock @ $3.40

Zip Lock couldn’t have been more impressive when winning by 1.5 lengths on debut at Doomben.

The two-year-old colt by Hellbent opened at $7 before being hammered with bookmakers, which is a good sign for a young runner.

Look for him to settle off the pace and come with a big late run.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 7. (16:57) Seven Members Mile (1600m)

#4 – Victory Win @ $8.50

Victory Win didn’t fire last time out, but that run was too bad to be true, so we’re giving him another chance.

The five-year-old gelding by Santos doesn’t typically run well at Eagle Farm, but there isn’t much covering this field.

Getting the inside draw could help him switch on and get back to his best.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (17:32) Magic Millions Falvelon Quality (1200m)

#8 – Fire Star @ $9.50

Fire Star isn’t having the most consistent preparation, but the five-year-old should go close on Saturday.

He finished second at Newcastle two back before running eighth at Randwick behind Weeping Woman, and that form has been franked.

Jason Collett riding at 55kg is enough to include him in picks at value odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (18:10) Ladbrokes Mega Multi BM70 (1200m)

#3 – Scripted @ $2.45

Scripted couldn’t remain unbeaten when running second last time out, but she went down fighting behind Yoyo Yeezy.

The four-year-old mare by Written By won her first two starts before having a long break, so it was a good resuming effort.

Luck is needed from barrier 13, but it could pay to follow the betting confidence.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 10. (18:49) U&U Recruitment C6 (1400m)

#1 – Atmosphere @ $6.50

Atmosphere paid good odds when winning at Ipswich last start, and there is no reason to jump off his back.

The six-year-old son of Lonhro owns two wins and six placings over the distance, so the statistics read well.

Getting 3kg off his back should take him close.

Stake: 1 Unit
