Fuel the Jet ran well enough for third on debut at Narromine, and he could return from a spell in good order.

Despite having only one run as a six-year-old, he has been prepared with a trial placing at Gunnedah, which bodes well.

Getting the inside draw is enough to see him win.

Race 2. (12:50) Kings Hall Jewellers Silver Goblet (1100m)

#6 – Regal Problem @ $2.50

Regal Problem did well to finish second on debut at Hawkesbury, and although four lengths behind the winner, it came behind Hidden Motive.

That form is much better than what she faces on Friday, with Hidden Motive favoured to win a stakes race on Saturday.

55.5kg on her back makes her tough to beat.

Race 3. (13:25) Precision Health Care Maiden (1300m)

#1 – Currumbin Alley @ $2.20

Currumbin Alley looks to go one better than his debut effort at Gunnedah, where he was only a half-length behind the winner.

The three-year-old son of Vancouver won’t take long to win a race, and getting the inside draw only helps his chances of winning.

He’s well worth including in horse racing multi picks.

Race 4. (14:00) Dubbo RSL Club Country Classic Qualifier (1300m)

#2 – Speedy Henry @ $1.55

We are not surprised by the short odds for Speedy Henry, who should beat this field without too many problems.

The Rodney Northam-trained gelding didn’t have all favours last start at Scone, but as he showed when winning his first two races, he has speed to burn.

Getting the inside draw with 2kg off his back adds to his appeal.

Race 5. (14:35) Dubbo RSL Club Country Classic Qualifier (1300m)

#10 – Zelestial @ $3.80

Zelestial showed good speed in her Australian debut when winning at Tamworth in heavy conditions by a half-length.

The former Irish galloper should only be better with that run under her belt, and punters get nice enough odds to include in picks.

Take the $3.80 before late money comes for her.

Race 6. (15:10) Western Plains Automotive C1 (1100m)

#6 – Sorrento Palace @ $6.50

Boasting three consecutive second placings this preparation is Sorrento Palace, who placed at Wellington, Dubbo, and Quirindi.

The three-year-old filly by Pierata doesn’t need to improve much to beat this field, and she has form on soft tracks.

Punters get value odds, so include her on an each-way basis.

Race 7. (15:45) Fardells Heavy Haulage BM82 (1000m)

Zakor has been well-backed since markets opened, and the six-year-old gelding is worth including in picks.

The son of Epaulette won well three back at Muswellbrook before placing at Wyong, and he has room for improvement after a fresh up fifth.

#2 – Rhythm is a Dancer @ $2.50

One of the better backed runners of the day is Rhythm is a Dancer, who won at Inverell by 1.3 lengths last time out.

The six-year-old son of Sir Prancelot is a four-time winner over the distance, and he doesn’t mind racing on rain-affected tracks.

62kg isn’t easy, but he’s worth including in picks.
