#10 – Regal Rina

Looking to improve on a debut fourth at Doomben is Regal Rina, who was only 1.4 lengths behind the winner.

The three-year-old filly by King’s Legacy should only improve with that run under her belt and getting in with 55.5kg is ideal.

She’s bred to be handy, so include her in picks.

Race 3. (15:03) Spring Carnival Book Now Maiden (1350m)

#6 – Atomic Time

Atomic Time has been all around the mark this preparation, including a third at Ipswich fresh up.

The three-year-old son of Time Test doesn’t meet an overly tough maiden field on Wednesday, so he could take advantage.

Dropping to 52.5kg makes him tough to hold out.

#1 – Celestial Blaze

Celestial Blaze comes off three consecutive second placings at Doomben and Eagle Farm, and he deserves an overdue win.

The four-year-old son of Husson is only a one-time winner from 12 starts, but his best form comes at the track, and he’s also a two-time placegetter over the distance.

Punters could get each-way odds, so include him in horse racing picks.

Race 5. (16:13) Road to Magic Millions Book Now BM68 (1200m)

#2 – The Enchanter

The Enchanter hasn’t been too far away from the prize this preparation, and we’re happy to give him another chance.

Michael Freedman lines up the four-year-old son of Per Incanto, who was good enough to win at Canterbury last prep, which is an excellent form guide.

He gets the inside draw and 3kg off his back, which helps.

#2 – Man of the Town

Man of the Town is unbeaten since resuming this preparation after posting wins at Sunshine Coast and Eagle Farm, which are good form guides.

The five-year-old may have taken seven starts to break maidens, but he’s flying now, and we’re happy to include him in our picks.

Race 7. (17:23) XXXX Gold BM70 (1350m)

#3 – Demitasse

Demitasse could go under the radar against this field, but he won his only start at Doomben, and he should be tough to beat.

The six-year-old has mixed form this preparation, including a third placing at Gold Coast last start, which is solid enough form.

Race 8. (18:02) Ladbrokes Mates Mode Handicap (1200m)

#2 – Goldsborough

The eight-year-old isn’t getting any younger, but he owns eight wins overall, including consecutive wins earlier this prep.

He is a four-time winner at Doomben, and the easing of the surface makes him tough to hold out, as he has three wins and four placings in soft conditions.

Getting 3kg off his back only helps his chances.
