There was strong betting support for Lady of Five on debut when winning at Eagle Farm and having that win on the board is ideal form.
She showed good professionalism to put a tidy field away, and she doesn’t need to improve too much to handle this field.
Punters should expect late money to come again.

The Enchanter capped off solid form with a win at Doomben, and he’s good enough to go back-to-back on Saturday.
He scored by a half-length, and now that he has broken through for an overdue win, he could rise through the grades.
There isn’t much over this field, so include at the odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
Royal Mover could be a nice type in the making after two unbeaten runs, and being from the Tony Gollan stable is a bonus.
The three-year-old gelding won at Sunshine Coast on debut at skinny odds before winning at Eagle Farm in open company last start.
That’s an excellent form guide, and he gets all favours from the draw.
Stake: 2.5 Units
We’re happy to give Phenom another chance despite running eighth fresh up, and she won her only second-up start.
She might have needed the run under her belt, and her form last preparation is good enough to be competitive in this affair.
The odds are worth including as a value bet.
Stake: 1 Unit
Caboche is a classy type at his best, and we’re hoping Chris Waller has him at his best on Saturday.
The seven-year-old son of Vadamos is a seven-time winner overall, and he only needs to improve slightly to get his confidence back.
He gets one more chance, especially against this company.
Stake: 1 Unit
We’re going with another Waller-trained runner at Doomben in Ichiban, who has threatened to win a race this prep.
He kicked things off with a placing at Gold Coast before running at Eagle Farm and Doomben, and although it’s not excellent form, it’s good enough.
Getting the inside draw could be enough to switch him on.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Winning form is with Written Fame, who scored at Ballina last start, and he showed good toughness close to the line.
The five-year-old son of Winning Rupert owns five wins from 18 starts, so he has a good winning record, and we’re keen to follow him.
Look for a betting push on race day.
Stake: 1 Unit
Show Some Decorum is taking his time to get back to his winning ways, but he put the writing on the wall with a placing at Doomben last start.
That should be a tidy form guide for this race, and being an eight-year-old, he has enough experience to handle this field.
Include the each-way odds in picks.
Stake: 1 Unit
Luck is needed from a wide barrier for Naval Seal, but he was a strong winner at Toowoomba at $21 odds.
The Waller-trained son of Snitzel is more than capable of winning in this grade, and some of his best form comes with a run under his belt.
A good ride could be enough to get him in the mix.
Stake: 1 Unit
Consistency is with Hatchet, who scored by two lengths over Show Some Decorum last start.
The seven-year-old is a six-time winner at Doomben, so he loves the track, and he also loves running over the sprint distance.
He’s a bomb proof runner, so he goes in selections.
Stake: 2 Units
