The two-year-old filly by Cool Aza Beel is bred to show early speed, and she doesn’t need to improve much to beat this field.

Barrier two is ideal, so take the odds.

He placed at Doomben twice, including once in heavy conditions, so he can handle any track thrown at him.

Barrier 13 isn’t ideal, but there isn’t much to this field.

Race 3. (14:43) Tattersalls Tiara Raceday Maiden (1350m)

#1 – Chief in Charge

Chief in Charge is threatening to win a race after posting two placings from three starts, including a second placing at Doomben fresh up.

The three-year-old son of Pierata was only 2.3 lengths behind the winner, and he doesn’t need to improve too much to win.

He should settle handy and kick gamely.

Race 4. (13:18) Mullins Lawyers C1 (1640m)

#4 – Jillaroo

Jillaroo is gunning for consecutive wins after scoring at Doomben last time out, and the former USA runner has upside.

The Ciaron Maher-trained mare owns a win and three placings from six starts, and getting the inside draw adds to her chances.

We expect her to keep winning at this level.

#4 – Zoology

Zoology showed good improvement to finish second last time out at Sunshine Coast, and that should be a strong form guide.

The five-year-old son of Zoustar doesn’t meet an overly tough field on Wednesday, so he doesn’t need to improve too much to win.

Getting the inside draw is enough to see him win.

Race 6. (14:28) Ladbrokes Fast Payouts C3 (1350m)

#8 – Araminta

Value could be with Araminta, who owns two wins and eight placings from 18 starts, including a win at Doomben.

The four-year-old mare by Spirit of Boom needed the fresh up run, and getting in with 55kg should see her run close.

If she gets luck from barrier 14, she should be right in the mix.
