#2 – Forging Ahead

The three-year-old son of Farnan shouldn’t take much longer to win a race and being from the Kris Lees stable helps.

#5 – Katdeel

Katdeel is fitter for two runs this preparation, and his best form typically comes with race fitness.

The seven-year-old son of Dundeel showed good form last campaign when winning two of his last three starts.

Angela Jones is one of the best in the game, and that adds to his appeal.

#7 – Considered

Shooting for four consecutive wins is Considered, who scored at Lismore last time out by a length as a $1.95 chance.

The four-year-old mare by So You Think owns three wins and three placings from six starts, so he’s yet to produce a disappointing run.

Barrier two is ideal for the Matthew Dunn-trained runner.

#2 – Tajawal

The six-year-old son of Frankel doesn’t mind a bit of sting out of the surface, so track conditions should be right up his alley.

#8 – Amuseantes

Boasting two wins and two placings from six starts is Amuseantes, who scored at Doomben fresh up before placing at Eagle Farm.

The four-year-old mare by Rothesay is a two-time winner over the distance, and jumping from barrier two should make her tough to beat.

It’s not an easy field, so expect each-way odds.

Race 7. (18:10) Magic Millions Carnival BM68 (1200m)

#6 – Casino Bay

Casino Bay won at Toowoomba last time out before spelling, and she could handle the rise in class.

The Matt Currie-trained filly finished second in a recent trial at Sunshine Coast, which is a good lead-up run for this contest.
