The four-year-old son of Cliff’s Edge was a beaten $1.70 favourite last time out, but he didn’t lose many admirers with that performance.

He won’t take long to win a race, so stick with him.

#3 – Buvelot

Buvelot was too good for them at Pakenham last start when scoring by 1.8 lengths, which is a good form guide for this race.

The four-year-old son of Blue Point showed a lot of toughness to get the job done, and running on a soft track shouldn’t worry him.

The five-year-old son of Zoustar relished the wet conditions to score at Sale, and running at Bairnsdale shouldn’t be too much different.

#2 – Druthers

Druthers couldn’t have been more impressive when winning by 2.3 lengths at Kilmore to break maidens, and he’s worth following at Bairnsdale.

The three-year-old son of Per Incanto ran well in the soft conditions to score with ease, and this isn’t the strongest field it will ever see.
