Gunning for his fourth win this preparation is Saturday Sesh, who meets tougher opposition here, but he’s good enough to handle it.
The four-year-old son of Sessions has turned his form around nicely this prep, and he’s unbeaten in two starts over the distance.
Look for value odds on race day.

Looking to score back-to-back wins is Pygmalion, who broke maidens with a good win at Northam last time out.
The half-length win was a tidy performance for a runner who showed good early form with back-to-back placings.
54kg is ideal, so include him in horse racing picks.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Moonwalk comes off a win at Northam, and we’re backing her to score another win on Saturday.
The three-year-old daughter of Bondi hit the line nicely to score by a half-length, and she owns a nice turn-of-foot.
We expect her to be right in the finish with 54kg and William Pike riding.
Stake: 2 Units
Daniel Morton lines up Pure Excess, who went close in two starts last preparation with placings at Pinjarra and Bunbury.
The three-year-old filly by Exceedance comes off a trial win at Lark Hill, so she looks ready to show her best on Saturday.
Money could come for her, so take the opening odds from bookmakers.

It was good to see Exceltrain back on the winning track last start, and although that came at Kalgoorlie, it should get his confidence levels up.
The six-year-old son of Spirit of Boom is a past winner at Ascot, so having experience winning here adds to his appeal.
He gets the inside draw and Pike riding, which doesn’t hurt.
Stake: 1 Unit
Changing Guard was too good for them at Belmont four back, and something close to that would be good enough.
The six-year-old son of Impending is a six-time winner overall, so he knows how to cross the line ahead of the field.
It’s not a great field, so look for him to take advantage.
Stake: 1 Unit
Black Ora has made a good start to her career with four wins from 10 starts, and she should be tough to hold out.
The four-year-old mare owns a win and two placings from four starts at Ascot, and three wins have come over the distance.
We’re happy to include him in picks against a tough field.
Stake: 2 Units
Class is with Super Smink, who has over $1.3 million in the bank, and her best form could return on Saturday.
The Morton-trained mare runs her best races at Ascot with 14 starts for four wins and eight placings, and that could be the catalyst for a form reversal.
55.5kg is ideal, and she gets every chance from the draw.
Stake: 3 Units
Magnificent Andy comes off a good win at Kalgoorlie, and he looks set for another win.
The seven-year-old son of Magnus owns four wins and eight placings at Ascot, and he’s not worried by the big weight of 59.5kg.
Class is with the top weight, who should win.
Stake: 3 Units
Funchal ended last preparation with three consecutive placings, and she could hit the ground running this time in.
The four-year-old mare by Playing God has yet to win at Ascot from six attempts, but she is getting close after four placings.
Brad Parnham rides, which adds to her appeal.
