Art Session owns two placings from two fresh up starts, and he could hit the ground running this preparation.
The four-year-old son of Sessions has yet to race at Ascot, but he comes off a trial win at Lark Hill, so he’s ready to fire.
Look for a betting move throughout the week.
Stake: 1 Unit
A consistent runner is Funchal, who owns a win and six placings from 10 starts, including back-to-back placings at Ascot this prep.
The Williams-trained four-year-old has been around the mark at Ascot with six placings, and she could finally crack the elusive win.
If she gets luck from the draw, she should be right around the mark.
Stake: 1 Unit
Shooting for five consecutive wins is Fast Harry, who won two races at Northam before winning at Ascot last time out.
The four-year-old son of Harry Angel is unbeaten at the track and over the distance, so it’s tough to discount him based on statistics.
He has a good chance of keeping his winning run alive.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Wineoclocksumwhere has been far too good for the opposition at Albany this preparation, including an easy 5.3-length win last start.
The four-year-old son of Sessions owns four wins and five placings overall, and although it’s a tough field, he’s good enough to win.
He only needs luck from a wide barrier to go close.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Looking to remain unbeaten is Hot and High, who paid short odds when winning by three lengths last time out.
The three-year-old filly by Too Darn Hot also won easily on debut at Northam, so there is plenty of upside with her.
Betting will be telling, but with 53kg on her back, she is a live chance.
Stake: 2 Units
She was too good for them when scoring at Ascot last start, which was her first win in seven attempts at Ascot.
The four-year-old mare by Bondi showed good toughness to score by a nose, and she could use that confidence to win again.
We expect each-way odds from bookmakers in a harder race.
Stake: 1 Unit
Looking to get back to winning form is Kay Tee Why, who kicked off this preparation with wins at Belmont and Ascot.
The four-year-old son of Nicconi owns four wins and four placings from nine starts, so he has yet to produce a bad performance.
Barrier 12 doesn’t help, but punters should be confident of a good run.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Bonjoy ran sixth behind Storyville last start, who has since run in the Group 1 Railway Stakes last Saturday.
That form should stack up well here, and she is an 11-time winner from only 22 starts, with seven wins coming at Ascot.
We expect her to be the hardest to beat, so take the odds.
Stake: 3 Units

Lady Boss has been a touch expensive for punters this season, but the former Sydneysider has upside in Perth.
She ran fourth in her first start in the West, and although beaten, she was always going to improve with the run under her belt.
Look for her to hit the line with authority.
Stake: 2 Units
