We have expert betting tips for racing at Ascot on Saturday, which includes 10 races on the premier card.

Punters get good value odds for the Western Australian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Ascot horse racing tips

Race 1. (14:54) Drummond Golf BM72 (1800m)

#4 – Asif

Boasting good form this preparation is Asif, who won at Ascot two starts ago before placing last time out.

The seven-year-old son of Per Incanto owns six wins and 14 placings overall, so he’s always around the mark, which is a good thing for punters.

Barrier four is ideal, and he should run well.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (15:29) Glenroy Chaff BM66 (1000m)

#4 – Snow Prince

There is a lot of winning form in this race, including Snow Prince, who got back to his winning ways at Belmont.

The five-year-old son of Safeguard is a four-time winner at Ascot from 20 starts, so he has plenty of experience to call on.

Dropping to 56kg should be enough to take him close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (16:04) MC Polytrack Handicap (1200m)

#4 – Earth God

Earth God is knocking on the door after three placings from four starts this campaign, and we’re happy to stick with him.

The four-year-old son of Written Tycoon is a three-time placegetter at Ascot, and it’s not a tough field, so he could capitalise.

Punters should get each-way odds on race day.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (16:43) Natasha Stakes (2200m)

#1 – Wonderfully Made @ $1.55

Wonderfully Made is living up to her name after three consecutive wins, and we’re not surprised by the short odds.

The three-year-old daughter of Playing God won by two lengths at listed grade last start, which is the best form guide.

She’s a good multi bet inclusion on Saturday.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 5. (17:23) City of Belmont Plate (1100m)

#1 – Firearm

Looking to improve on a last-start placing is Firearm, who chased gamely as a $26 chance at Ascot.

The two-year-old son of Shooting to Win will be at much shorter odds with William Pike riding, which is another reason to bet on him.

He only needs to find cover from the draw to finish off best.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 6. (18:00) Tabtouch Westspeed Platinum (1600m)

#4 – Spank Appeal

The interestingly named runner should be fitter after two runs this preparation, and he could show her best now.

He owns two wins and three placings from eight starts overall, and he wasn’t too far away when running sixth at Ascot.

Brad Parnham rides, and we fancy his chances.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (18:37) Peters Investments 1MW (1800m)

#10 – Western Lady

Western Lady won well at Belmont fresh up before adding a placing at Bunbury, and there is nothing wrong with that form.

The four-year-old mare by Toronado has yet to win at Ascot from five starts, but she owns a placing, and it’s only a matter of time.

Lucy Fiore rides well, and getting in with 55kg helps.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 8. (19:14) Guinness BM72 (1200m)

#10 – Timeless Gem

Simon Miller lines up Timeless Gem, who won at Ascot earlier this preparation, which is a good form guide.

The four-year-old son of I Am Immortal owns four wins and four placings from 13 starts, and he’s a three-time winner over the distance.

Barrier two is ideal, so he can’t be overlooked.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 9. (19:52) Schweppes J.C. Roberts Stakes (1800m)

#1 – The Crimson Pirate @ $3.10

The Crimson Pirate is seeking three consecutive wins, and we’re not jumping off his back after scoring by 2.5 lengths last start.

He defeated a similar field to what he faces on Saturday, and the three-year-old son of Trapeze Artist has loads of upside.

Barrier 11 isn’t ideal, but he has time to find cover.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 10. (20:32) Croser Sparkling 1MW (1400m)

#2 – King Hit

King Hit was too good for them last time out, scoring by a half-length at Ascot as a $14 chance.

The four-year-old rebounded nicely after running ninth at Bunbury, and staying at Ascot only helps his chances of winning again.

Look for each-way odds on race day.

Stake: 1 Unit
