Royal Trouble hasn’t been too far away from the prize this season, including a third placing at Ascot last time out.
The five-year-old son of Toronado gets the services of William Pike riding, and that could be enough to see him win.
Take the $2.40 odds in the opening race.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Call to Order looked good when winning a recent trial at Belmont, which is typically good form for races like this.
The two-year-old filly by Royal Meeting showed a good turn-of-foot to win the trial, and we’re surprised by the $7 odds.
Include her in picks as an each-way hope.
Stake: 1 Unit
Summer’s Legacy was left with too much to do last time out, so we’re prepared to give her another chance as the favourite.
The four-year-old mare by Bondi owns four wins from 16 starts, and she was in good form with back-to-back wins at Belmont and Ascot.
It’s another good ride for Pike, who could have a big day.
Stake: 2 Units
Paint It Red has been around the mark throughout her career, and although she has been in work for some time, she’s rock-hard fit.
The Luke Fernie-trained three-year-old won at Bunbury earlier this preparation before running some solid races in defeat.
Look for her to push forward and be tough to run down.
Stake: 1 Unit
Money hasn’t come for Shmoov Moova, who opened at $2.15, but the favourite should be tough to hold out.
The four-year-old son of Territories hasn’t been at his best this prep, but he has been facing tough fields, and this is more to his liking.
We’re happy to include him in our picks at the odds.
Stake: 2 Units
Auto Cruise won on debut before rattling off three consecutive placings, and there is nothing wrong with that form.
The four-year-old mare by A Lot was only a half-length behind the winner last start, and that should be a good form guide.
Take the odds before money comes for her.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Punters get value odds with Redback Flyer, who didn’t do much wrong last preparation when winning three times.
The four-year-old son of Playing God has yet to finish worse than second in two attempts at Ascot, so that’s another positive.
We can’t turn down the odds available with bookmakers.
Stake: 1 Unit
The each-way odds for Captain Pluto are worth taking for Captain Pluto, who won well two back before losing no admirers last time out.
He is a consistent runner with seven wins to his name, and we’re happy to include him in picks with Pike in the saddle.
He only needs luck from a wide barrier to go close.
Stake: 1 Unit

Boasting six wins and five placings from 15 starts is Devine Belief, who is a four-time winner at Ascot.

She is another runner at odds worth including.
Stake: 1.5 Units
