National Sprint Championship Tips for Trifecta
Punters should have four runners on their ticket for the National Sprint Championship trifecta. We recommend taking a boxed percentage trifecta. Spend what you want, and the payouts can be massive.
- Miss Envy
- Cluster
- Where’s Poppy
- Uncle Tommy

National Sprint Championship First-Four Tips
We have included six runners for our National Sprint Championship first-four. Boxing all five selections for a percentage can still result in a huge payout, and you spend what you want.

- Uncle Tommy
- Chapel Road
- Might Have Been

National Sprint Championship Form Guide & Tips
(1) Cluster (Best Each Way – $5.50)
He comes off three consecutive wins and it’s his first start over the track and distance.
We’re not too concerned by that, and he’s our best each-way bet off the inside trap, which bodes well for this race.
Punters get each-way odds, and they’re worth taking.
(2) Chapel Road ($6.00)
He is a top four chance following a strong win in the heats, and he will finish off strongly.
The 11-time winner has enough class to win the feature race, so we’re including him in first four picks at the price.
(3) Miss Envy (Best Bet – $3.00)
Miss Envy is the best greyhound in the race with seven wins from 11 starts, and we expect her to beat this field.
The two-year-old daughter of Aston Dee Bee hit the line with devastating power last time out at Nowra, and she can handle the rise in class.
She only needs to get a clean run throughout the field to win.
(4) Sweet Sundown ($21.00)
Sweet Sundown comes off consecutive wins in Tasmania, and she owns 11 wins from 16 starts.
Having all that speed on her inside could make it tough, so we’re not including her in our National Sprint Championship picks.
(5) Uncle Tommy ($6.00)
Class is with Uncle Tommy, who owns 15 wins from 30 starts, and over $438,000 in the bank.
His most recent form hasn’t been his best, but he looked good winning consecutive races at Albion Park earlier this year.
He’s another runner who should be right around the mark.
(6) Where’s Poppy (Best Roughie – $11.00)
Boasting a terrific record of 20 wins from 32 starts, Where’s Poppy is an obvious inclusion at the odds.
Her form hasn’t come at the top level as much as other runners, but the track specialist owns 17 wins at the track and distance.
Getting $11.00 for Where’s Poppy is a good price.
(7) Might Have Been ($5.50)
Boasting four wins from his last five starts, the Wentworth Park representative is in fine form.
That’s reflected in betting markets, and he should get a good run from the wide trap, which adds to his appeal.
He’s a top four chance in an even final.
(8) Smooth Plane ($6.50)
The two-year-old got back to winning form at Sandown Park last start, which was a tough affair.
The 16-time winner has yet to race at the track and distance and drawing the widest trap adds to his appeal.
(9) Fantastic Spike ($9.00)
Consistency is with Fantastic Spike with 16 wins and 15 placings from 36 starts.
However, she has yet to contest a field of this nature, and we don’t think he’ll get a run in the final on Saturday.
(10) Adhana Rico ($23.00)
The four-year-old is unlikely to get a run in the field, and if he’s lucky enough to make it, we can’t see him winning.
