Bold Trease Form Guide & Tips

(1) Payback ($16.00)

The inside draw doesn’t make much of a difference for her. She will likely get back in the run and have too much to do.

(2) Late Night News ($6.50)

He is never too far away from the mark, and we can’t leave him out at each-way odds. He ran third in the heat behind Fade to Black, but it was a good time.

He will likely settle near the back of the field as well, but his mid-race move will come.

(3) Fade to Black ($8.50)

A lovely heat winner where they ran good time. Not the best draw with Ayden’s Warrior to his outside, which is the main concern.

However, he’s good enough to run in the first four.

(4) Ayden’s Warrior (Best Each Way – $3.00)

A booming heat winner when keeping Without a Trace out early and holding on for the win.

It was the best lead-in race for the Bold Trease, and he should be fighting out the finish with the favourite once again.

The obvious quinella hope.

(5) Apilla ($15.00)

She is running well enough this season, but the final might be too much for her. We would prefer to back her in the major South Australian features.

(6) Galactic Spartan ($27.00)

He will need to elevate his game to win the Bold Trease. He could get shuffled back early and never become a factor.

We’re not interested in the odds, which are generous, but with reason.

(7) Mepunga Lara (Best Roughie – $11.00)

A big upset chance if she can jump well and find a first three spot into the first turn. Without a Trace will look to come with her, and they could help each other out

She runs come of her best races at the track and distance, which is another positive.

(8) Without a Trace (Best Bet – $2.35)

The best greyhound in the race, and although beaten by Ayden’s Warrior last start, she did a little bit wrong during the run.

She checked off heels coming for home, which allowed Ayden’s Warrior to kick away, but she shouldn’t have lost any admirers with the effort.

$2.35 for a champion greyhound is too good to pass up.

(9) King Ron ($46.00)

We can’t see him win if he makes the field. No interest in the opening odds.

(10) Magic Snowdrop ($46.00)

Winning form isn’t there, so she should be better suited at an easier race.
