We have expert betting tips for the WM Phoenix Open this week, which is one of the most interesting PGA Tour tournaments of the year.
The Party Hole will be going off again in 2026, especially if someone lands a hole-in-one, and it makes for great viewing.
Scottie Scheffler aims to remain perfect this year, and he’s the current favourite with WM Phoenix Open odds.
WM Phoenix Open Tips & Predictions

Best Bet
Punters got the money with Scheffler in the American Express, and there is no reason to jump off his back, especially with the Phoenix Open being one of his favourite tournaments.
The world number one’s first PGA Tour win came at the 2022 Phoenix Open, and he won it in 2023 as well. That’s a good record for the American, and we’re surprised by the $3.20 odds available for the tournament favourite.
Based on his form and the form of the other players in the field, we priced him at $2. That’s getting into Tiger Woods territory, but Xander Schauffele is the second favourite and he missed the cut last week.
Take the odds before his odds shorten throughout the week.

Next Best
Ben Griffin is often underrated in betting markets, which is the case again this week. The Ryder Cup player posted a T24 finish at the American Express, and he should build on a solid 2026 opener.
The 29-year-old won three times last year, including the Charles Schwab Challenge and WWT Technology Championship, so he has some quality wins on his record, and the WM Phoenix Open is well within his reach.
We rated him at $23, so he’s another player worth including at value odds.

Best Value Bet
Maverick McNealy has made a positive start to the year with a 10th at the Farmers Insurance Open, which followed a T24 finish at the Sony Open.
The 30-year-old is one of the more consistent players on the PGA Tour, and he was rewarded with a win at the 2024 RSM Classic. However, he could have easily won more than one tournament, so we’re backing him until he does.
The former Stanford player likes to play well early in the year, so include him in your golf picks at this week at a good price.

Best Roughie
It has been a long road back from injury for Daniel Berger, but we wouldn’t be surprised if he won on the PGA Tour this year.
Class is permanent with players like Berger, who made the cut at the American Express and that will give him plenty of confidence.
He’s a four-time winner on the tour, with his last win coming in 2021. He made the Ryder Cup team that same year before struggling with injuries to his back and finger. It’s not ideal to play with existing injuries, but he could give punters a good sight.
At $56, he’s worth the risk.

Top 10
Cameron Young didn’t have his best start to the year with a T22 finish at the Farmers Insurance Open, but that’s a good finish for most players.
The American, who is a former Rookie of the Year, expects better, and he should improve quickly at the WM Phoenix Open.
Punters get $3.50 for Young to record a top 10 finish, so include him in multis to boost payouts in a big way.
