We have expert betting tips for Travelers Championship this week, which features the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy.
Travelers Championship odds have Scheffler at $4, which is a better price than punters got for him to win the U.S. Open last week.
Travelers Championship Tips & Predictions

Best Bet
Scheffler was unable to win the U.S. Open at Oakmont, but despite making errors on the greens, he was good enough to finish on the first page of the leaderboard.
Even when he’s not playing well, he’s never out of it, and we thought he would be at shorter odds than $4. He is having a good year, and although he doesn’t often win in June or later in the year, he has the class edge over this field.
Considering he was at shorter odds to win a major than he is to win the Travelers Championship, we can’t turn down the odds. Take the $4 and lock in the value.

Next Best
We backed Xander Schauffele to win last week, and although he came up short, it was a credible performance from the American.
His efforts since returning from injury has been solid for the two-time major winner, who is good enough to beat this field, and punters get better odds than expected.
He has shown in the past that he’s good enough to beat the likes of Scheffler on the big stage, and last week’s performance should give him confidence. He hit a lot of fairways and made enough putts, and life is easier at the Travelers compared to Oakmont.
Getting $17 is a fair price with PGA Tour odds, so include him in golf picks.

Best Value Bet
One of the more underrated golfers in Travelers Championship golf betting markets is Sepp Straka. The big Austrian is having a stellar 2025 after winning the Truist Championship in May and The American Express in January.
He has also been around the mark at the majors, including a T16 at the Masters last year, so the 32-year-old shouldn’t be paying $51. His 2025 majors’ performances haven’t been too hot, but he can turn that form around.
We’re not leaving him out of our golf picks this week.
—
Best Roughie
We’re sticking with the players who performed well last week, which is a good golf betting strategy.
Players often stay in form on the PGA Tour, and we’re hoping Viktor Hovland can use the momentum he garnered last week with a top showing at the U.S. Open. He had a chance to win late but missed too many fairways when it counted.
The fairways at the Travelers Championship are much more forgiving, so if Hovland misses the short grass, he won’t get punished as much.
$34 is better than we expected, so lock in the value.

Top 20
Jason Day often goes under the radar in golf betting markets, and we’re happy to include him in our Travelers Championship top 20 picks.
The Australian wasn’t at his best last week, but conditions at this tournament should suit better, and he has played well here before.
He should start well, so he’s a chance to be first round leader, and he could hold on for a top 20 finish at $2.63 odds. Include him in golf multi picks this week.
