Ruling out Reed from winning on the tour is a big mistake. The former LIV player made his intentions known when winning two weeks ago at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, and he followed it up with a playoff loss at the Bahrain Championship.

Ideally, Reed wants to get back on the PGA Tour, but for the meantime, he’s enjoying his success on the world circuit, and it’s a smart move. He might not be playing for massive money, but winning tournaments will get his confidence levels sky high.

We would love to see him win a tournament soon, and although the desert courses don’t completely suit his style compared to playing in Europe, his natural talent should see him land on the first page of the leaderboard.
