Rory McIlroy is the hottest golfer in the world having won two big tournaments in 2025, including The Masters and The Players.

Those tournaments aren’t easy to win, and with the relief of ending an 11-year major drought, he could now kick on with it and win the PGA Championship this week. He is playing smart golf, and with some of the world’s best not playing their best, he could take advantage.

Based on form and form alone, there are three main hopes for the title, including Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau. Of those three, punters get value odds for McIlroy at $5.50, and the odds could firm before Round 1 tee times.

If DeChambeau played on the PGA Tour, we believe his PGA Championship odds would be around $6 to win.

Punters get better odds for the LIV superstar, who knows how to win at the top level, and his form on the LIV Tour has been excellent in 2025. That bodes well, and the American tends to play well when conditions are at their toughest.

Quail Hollow is no joke, and with rain about early in the week, the conditions could be there for DeChambeau to dominate. His driver length carries all the soft fairway, which means players relying on roll out will be disadvantaged.

We would hate to leave out Tommy Fleetwood at the odds. He’s one of those players we must have something on because his first PGA Tour associated win will come at some point.

He’s too good not to have won a major or on the PGA Tour, and he has been consistent this season. He played well last week at the Truist Championship, and he should take that confidence and call on it this weekend.

Getting $41 odds with golf betting markets is a fair price.

Punters get massive odds for Brian Harman to win his second major, having won the 2023 Open Championship in tough conditions.

If it’s windy at Quail Hollow, that brings Harman right into contention, and we’re not sure why he’s paying big odds. He has been playing well enough in 2025, including a win at the Valero Texas Open in April.

He might not have a great PGA Championship record, but he finished T26 last year, and his confidence is growing in majors.
