Jon Rahm has been close to scoring an overdue LIV win, having won twice in 2024. The Spaniard won LIV Golf UK and Chicago, but his last win came in September.

His form in big tournaments hasn’t quite been as good as usual, but Rahm is a top tier player who can’t be overlooked at LIV Hong Kong.

There has been steady betting support come for the 10-time PGA Tour winner, who won the 2023 Masters. He is a $6.50 favourite to score his first win of 2025, which is a fair price from bookmakers for this tournament.

If he’s anywhere near his best, he should be too good for them in Hong Kong.

LIV Hong Kong Best Value – Tyrrell Hatton

Tyrrell Hatton has emerged as one of the world’s best golfers this year, and despite playing on LIV and not earning world golf ranking points, he’s still in the top 10.

He won the Dubai Desert Classic in January, and although he’s only a one-time winner on the LIV Tour, he won that tournament by six strokes. It came at the Nashville event last year, and he has since finished T26 at the U.S. Open.

Punters always get a good sight when betting on the Englishman, who might be the angriest man on tour, but he’s talented and one of the best in the world. We’re snapping up the $10 available, as we priced him at around $8.

LIV Hong Kong Next Best – David Puig

We believe it’s only a matter of time before David Puig wins on the LIV Tour, and his 2025 efforts have been solid.

The 23-year-old Spaniard is a two-time Asian Tour winner, who won the Southwestern Invitational by a record nine strokes as an amateur. He has the ability to showcase his talents on the global stage, and he could go under the radar.

If he chose to play on the PGA Tour, based on recent results, we believe he would have won by now. However, he opted to take the secured money and he could start having success on the course.

Punters get $23 for Puig to win and those odds are worth snapping up.

LIV Hong Kong Top 20 – Thomas Pieters

Consistent form is tough to come by for Thomas Pieters, but when he’s at his best, he’s tough to beat.

The Belgian 33-year-old is a $2.10 chance to post a top 20 finish, and given the size of the field in Hong Kong, those odds are worth taking.

He is a six-time European Tour winner, including the 2022 Abu Dhabi Championship when beating a quality field by one shot. He also made the cut in three of four major tournaments in 2023 before missing out on qualification in 2024.

It’s a tough field but he’s good enough to finish in the top 20.
