We have expert betting tips for LIV Golf Chicago this week, where Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm headline betting.
Punters cashed in with Joaquin Niemann at double-figure odds at LIV London, and we see no reason to jump off his back this week.
LIV Chicago Tips & Predictions
—
Best Bet
We’re not sure why Niemann isn’t favoured to win every LIV tournament. He has the most LIV Tour wins, and although he hasn’t performed well in the majors, that’s irrelevant when it comes to betting on a weekly basis.
The Chilean superstar won at LIV London by three strokes over Bubba Watson, making it five wins in 2025 and seven wins in his LIV career. That’s an outstanding record, and he also finished T8 at the PGA Championship.
His results speak for themselves, and the three-round tournaments are his forte. Getting $8 for Niemann is a steal, so he’s our top pick once again.

Next Best
Patrick Reed isn’t too far away from posting a win after finishing second behind Niemann in London, and he has been well-backed to win.
The American is a former major winner, and although he came up just short two weeks ago, his confidence levels are growing.
It’s not often you see Reed on the fifth line of betting at $13, so we’re happy to follow the betting moves come for the enigmatic player. He deserves a win at LIV, and it should come soon.

Best Value Bet
There is a stack of pressure on the shoulders of Cameron Smith, who missed the cut at all four major tournaments.
The Australian, who owns a major win and a Players Championship win, isn’t playing his best golf, but the talent is there. He just needs to focus on hitting good shots and erase the noise, and that could happen this week at LIV Chicago.
Class doesn’t leave, and Smith could silence critics with a strong showing. We’re prepared to take the risk at the $23 odds, which could shorten throughout the week.

Best Roughie
Looking for his third LIV Tour win is Sergio Garcia, who won in 2024 at Andalucia and earlier this year in Hong Kong. The Spanish star knows how to win tournaments, and he’s also 1-3 in LIV playoffs, so he could have won many more.
He shot –18 to win LIV Hong Kong when beating Dean Burmester by three strokes, and he’s typically near the top of the leaderboard. We expect him to start well at LIV Chicago and be right near the top of the leaderboard.
As an 11-time winner on the PGA Tour, he knows what it takes to win in the U.S. Therefore, the $31 odds are excellent value.

Top 20
Lee Westwood isn’t always the easiest golfer to follow, but he’s another player with stacks of experience playing against the world’s best.
The British golfer has gone close to winning many big tournaments, and although his record at LIV isn’t special, he hasn’t been far away in 2025.
Given the size of the field, getting $2.25 for a top 20 finish is a good price to include in golf picks this week.
