He has most recently made a name for himself on the TGL circuit for Boston Common, but after playing poorly at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, he needs to start getting back to his best form on the golf course.

His runner-up finishes at the 2024 John Deere Classic and Puntacana Championship came against similar fields to what he faces this week, and with no superstars playing, the youngster could take advantage at $23 odds.

Brooks Koepka @ $26.00

If Brooks Koepka plays anywhere near his best, he should blow away this field. The hard part is knowing when he’s going to try, but he should want to play well this week.

The five-time major winner has the clear class advantage on the field, and although he only plays his best golf in the majors, the former LIV star is desperate to find success upon his return to the PGA Tour.

Bookmakers must respect his ability, hence the $26 odds, and we’re happy to include him in our golf picks this week.

Aaron Rai @ $34.00

It’s only a matter of time before Aaron Rai wins another PGA Tour tournament, having won the 2024 Wyndham Championship.

The Englishman was right in contention last week at the Genesis Invitational at –11 before shooting +5 in the final round, which saw him fall from being one of the leaders to T28. However, he’s mentally strong, and he should bounce back.

The 30-year-old is a good bet at $34, and we priced him at around $21. Snap up the odds for the Brit to produce the goods.

Sami Valimaki @ $51.00

We backed Sami Valimaki at $201 last week, and he played well enough to post a T37 finish in the limited field.

It got a pass mark from us, and without the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy in the field in this week, he gets a better chance to win.

The 2025 RSM Classic winner has PGA Tour-winning experience, which most don’t in this tournament, and he could use that to his advantage on the weekend. Therefore, the $51 is a good value bet for punters this week.

Ryan Gerard @ $3.00

Coming off a T28 finish at the Genesis Invitational is Ryan Gerard, who has been heavily backed to win the Cognizant Classic.

The American is playing well enough to post a top 10 finish, and although the $3 odds are on the shorter side of value, we’re not ignoring the money coming for him.

It’s a significant push, and the confidence is coming from somewhere, so it could pay to follow him.
