We have expert betting tips for the Abu Dhabi Championship this week, where some of the world’s best players are in action on the DP World Tour.
Golf odds are headlined by Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, and Ludvig Aberg, so it’s a red-hot field for the big tournament.
Abu Dhabi Championship Tips & Predictions

Best Bet
One of the best players in the world is Ludvig Aberg, and he should enjoy the conditions in Abu Dhabi. He plays well on courses that are set up like this week, and the young Swede is due for a win after going winless since February.
The 26-year-old has had some injury worries in 2025, but by all accounts, he has overcome those, and it’s good to see him tee it up this week. There is also good respect in betting markets at $12, which adds to our confidence levels.
Beating the likes of McIlroy in the desert isn’t easy, but he has the game to get it done.

Next Best
We love backing Tyrrell Hatton because you know he wants to win. He’s a feisty customer, who only needs to drop a few putts to be right in the thick of the finish.
Hatton, who plays on the LIV Tour, often goes under the radar because he’s not playing on the PGA Tour. However, he’s a world class player, and that’s why he’s on the third line of betting behind McIlroy and Fleetwood.
We’re not leaving him out of our Abu Dhabi Championship picks at the current odds.

Best Value Bet
We’re backing Aaron Rai this week because he could have played in a much easier event on the PGA Tour, but he has come to Abu Dhabi against the best.
His form on the Tour has been excellent without being amazing, but he’s one of the more consistent golfers in the world. He’s a top 20 player at his best, and he could give this field a fright if he plays well enough on the first day.
Punters get $26 for the British golfer, who should give a good sight on the weekend.
—
Best Roughie
We backed the Kiwi at $101 when he finished T9 at the India Championship, and he had the lead with only nine holes to go.
He’s a quality player from New Zealand, and although beating some of the golfers in this field won’t be easy, he played better than most of them in India.
Punters get $101 odds, so he doesn’t need to win to justify backing him. He can shoot low numbers, and he’s worth having on your ticket as a roughie.

Top 10
We find it tough to leave out Nicolai Hojgaard in our golf picks this week. The former Ryder Cup player is a quality golfer on his day, and he’s used to winning tournaments on the DP World Tour.
He’s having a solid year, and finishing in the top 10 wouldn’t surprise anyone. He is another golfer who should be favoured by the conditions in the desert, and he could sink plenty of birdies over the next four days.
