Consequently, there is still plenty to play for in the final two races of the season and the presence of Max Verstappen continues to loom over both McLaren drivers.

Norris undoubtedly holds the key in the title race and if the Brit holds his nerve, he looks set to win his maiden world championship, but it is unlikely to pass without incident here in Qatar.

The stakes could not be higher, and this promises to be one of the most iconic fortnights in recent F1 history, starting at the Losail Circuit.

With just two races to go in the 2025 F1 season, this should be another epic here in Qatar:

Max Verstappen @ $2.25

Winning in Las Vegas wasn’t a huge surprise for Max Verstappen last weekend, with the Dutchman in the form of his life but he couldn’t have asked for a better all round weekend. With both McLaren drivers disqualified, he has the chance to apply some serious pressure to Lando Norris over the next couple of races. Winning a fifth F1 title in a row was merely a pipe dream a couple of weeks ago but a win here in Qatar and Verstappen is in the hunt.

Lando Norris @ $2.80

The pressure is seriously ramping up on Lando Norris, who knows he needs to better Verstappen in each of the next two races to be assured of his first world championship. Poor team management left him in a pickle in Las Vegas but if he can bounce back here in Qatar, it could be a serious weekend of celebration for Norris and his McLaren team.

Oscar Piastri @ $7.00

Form has eluded Oscar Piastri at the wrong time for him this season but there is no doubting his ability in races like this. The Australian has kept pace with Norris and Verstappen all season and he won’t be wanting to let up at this late stage of the campaign. Qatar should be quick, which is ideal for Piastri and ruling him out is never sensible.

F1 Qatar Grand Prix Top Six Finish

This feels like the biggest weekend of the season for every driver on the grid here in Qatar: –

George Russell @ $1.25

It has been another big year of progress for George Russell and like the aforementioned Verstappen, finding form ahead of the 2026 campaign has been the key objective of late. He should relish conditions here in Qatar and looks a decent price to crack the top half dozen.

Charles Leclerc @ $1.30

Ferrari and Charles Leclerc have endured a tough season, but he continues to knock on the door of podium places in most races. Qatar has yielded some decent returns for him over the years, and he could be in the top six mix here.

Kimi Antonelli @ $2.50

Mercedes and Kimi Antonelli are finishing the season strongly and this looks another decent fit for the young Italian. He will be challenged by the intensity of the race for supremacy ahead of him but if he can stay out of trouble, he looks a decent shout to finish inside the top six.
