The stakes are high here in the final race of the 2025 Formula 1 season and Abu Dhabi should provide the perfect backdrop:

Max Verstappen @ $2.60

Dutchman Max Verstappen has been driving like a man possessed in recent weeks and nothing seems capable of stopping him at the moment. He is chasing a historic fifth consecutive driver’s crown and is looking every bit like the champion in 2025. His issue is the points deficit he has to catch up on Lando Norris, with the Brit leading the title race by 12 points heading into the final weekend. Verstappen looks decent value to win this race, whether it is enough to win the title remains to be seen but he looks in good shape here.

Yet more drama met McLaren last weekend, with some questionable team strategy leaving Lando Norris and team mate Oscar Piastri under the pump. The equation is simple here in Abu Dhabi, finish in the top three and he’s won the title, however, there hasn’t been too much going his way in recent weeks. This feels like a race where he will look to get the job done but if the opportunity presents itself, a win here in Abu Dhabi would cap an incredible campaign for Norris.

Attention has been all on Verstappen and Norris in recent weeks but mathematically, Oscar Piastri is still in the mix for the title this term. In a similar vein to Norris, Piastri has found results very hard to come by over the past few weeks, losing speed at the sharp end of the grid. However, as this season has proven, anything can happen in Formula 1 and Piastri cannot be written off completely.
