With domestic seasons across Europe in full swing and the 2025-26 Champions League underway, there is a real feeling that things are starting to really matter this term.

European giants PSG, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Bayern Munich all picked up wins in their opening games, while the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Barcelona did too.

The absence of shock results was a key talking point from match day one but for the likes of Atalanta, Galatasaray and Monaco, there is work to do already this term, having all suffered hefty opening game losses.

Here are our Champions League tips for the second round of group stage fixtures in the 2025/26:
