We have expert betting tips for the PDC World Championship, which kicks off this week and runs right through to the New Year.
Teenage sensation Luke Littler is the odds on favourite to win back-to-back World Championship titles, and he will be tough to beat.
We have darts tips for the biggest tournament of the year.
PDC World Championship Tips & Predictions

Best Bet
Littler is quickly becoming the second-best player to ever throw a dart, behind the legendary Phil Taylor, and he’s zeroing in on Michael van Gerwen’s records.
The British youngster is playing better than any other player on the planet, and he’s yet to finish worse than second at the PDC World Championship. His form since winning last year has only improved, hence the $1.89 odds.
We can’t remember a time when the favourite was so short, even in the Taylor era, and that’s credit to his ability. Even if he doesn’t start well, he never panics, and that makes him tough to beat, especially when they play longer games later in the tournament.

Next Best
Another youngster on the rise is Gian van Veen, who has been cutting his teeth on the Pro Tour over the last few years.
Despite having wins against some of the best players in the world, and winning tournaments, he’s still considered a youth player. He recently won the Youth Championship when beating Beau Greeves in the final, so his future is bright.
The Dutchman has been given plenty of respect in betting markets at $17. That’s a credit to his rise through the rankings, and we’re happy to beat him. On his day, he’s good enough to beat guys like Littler and Luke Humphries.

Best Value Bet
It has been a tough year for the Dutch master, who looked capable of chasing down Taylor’s records. However, despite going through some rough form patches and a marriage breakup, we’re sticking with him.
He still has enough talent to beat the younger players, which was evident when winning the World Series of Darts. He got the better of Littler in the final, and that should give him enough confidence to make a deep run.
We would have only dreamed of getting $21 for van Gerwen, so we can’t leave him out.

Best Roughie
Wessel Nijman is a 25-year-old Dutch player who could be one to watch over the next few years. He shows good form in non-televised games, but he often gets in his own way when it comes to playing on the big stage.
However, despite suffering in big games, Nijman is worth including in picks at the odds. He will only improve with more time under his belt, and we’re surprised with the $81 odds available with bookmakers.
He is a player worth backing throughout the tournament in head-to-head markets.

Player to Throw a 9 Darter
There are two players we like to throw a 9-darter; Littler and Gerwyn Price. Punters get much better odds for Price to get the crowd into a frenzy, and his form this year has been excellent.
He loves throwing the perfect leg on the big stage, and $9.50 is a better price than expected for the Welshman. Price is a player the crowd loves to hate, but when he gets deep into a perfect leg, they’ll be right behind him.
