Bankwest Stadium was the previous commercial name of Western Sydney Stadium, which is now named CommBank Stadium.
Bankwest Stadium is located in the heart of Parramatta at 11-13 OβConnell Street, in the Greater Western Sydney region, around 24km west of the Sydney CBD.
The state-of-the-art stadium has a 30,000-seat capacity, and the steep angle of the seats means that spectators are close to the action no matter how far back they are seated.

While it is a multi-purpose stadium, the primary purpose of Bankwest Stadium is to host professional sporting events for rugby league, soccer, and rugby union.
Teams who play their home games at Bankwest Stadium are the Parramatta Eels (NRL), Wests Tigers (NRL), New South Wales Waratahs (Super Rugby) and the Western Sydney Wanderers (A-League).
The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs also play some of their home games at Bankwest Stadium – in addition to playing at Stadium Australia – which is a much bigger stadium located closer to the Sydney CBD.
