We predicted this exact scenario at the start of the playoffs, and we expected the Sixers to get their revenge for a loss to the Scorchers.

Our pre-season picks had the Sixers winning the tournament, and although the Scorchers play at home having beaten the Sixers earlier in the week, we expect the result to be different this time around when everything is on the line.

After beating the Hurricanes easily on Friday night, the Sixers should be full of confidence. They choked away a win against the Scorchers in the prelim final, and they’re keen to turn that result around, and we’re happy with the $2.10 odds.

The Sixers have quality players, and the addition of Mitch Starc could take them to the next level. It should be a close game, but with Steve Smith batting better than most, he and Starc could showcase their superiority.

Mitch Marsh didn’t have a good game in the prelim final. It was a rare bad game, and he could struggle to get going in the final. The Sixers’ opening bowling attack is good, which could put the Scorchers under early pressure.
