Adelaide Strikers vs. Sydney Thunder @ Adelaide Oval
Only one point separates the Strikers and the Thunder following Adelaide’s win on Sunday night.
Playing consecutive games against the same team makes life interesting, especially when the Thunder have yet to secure a playoff spot.
The Thunder had every chance to run down the 159-run total on Sunday night, and they were 73/1 at one stage. However, they played poorly in the last 10 overs to lose by six runs.
It should give the Strikers plenty of confidence in this game, and punters get good value for the home side.
Adelaide is paying $1.98 to win on home soil, and that’s too good to pass up.
Bet: Adelaide Strikers to win @ $1.98

Brisbane Heat vs. Perth Scorchers @ Adelaide Oval
After starting the season poorly, Perth has battled its way to the top of the Big Bash ladder.
They will be hoping to stay there and get an extra life in the playoffs, but the Brisbane Heat have an upset on their minds.
Brisbane needs a win to have any chance of making the top five, but do they deserve to be playing in the playoffs? It was been another below-average season for the Heat, and they’re not getting enough production from their batters.
Perth is the classier team, and although it’s not do-or-die, they will want to win this game just as much as the Heat.
Take the $1.67 available for the better team.
Bet: Perth Scorchers to win @ $1.67

Melbourne Renegades vs. Hobart Hurricanes @ MCG
The Renegades have been poor this season, winning only three of their 13 games. They have shown ability at times, but disastrous results from skipper Aaron Finch have set the standard for this team.
They now face a Hobart Hurricanes side that started the season on fire. Hobart led the competition after a few weeks, but recent form hasn’t been up to scratch.
Three losses from their last five games have put them in a tough position. Depending on the Heat vs. Scorchers game, Hobart might need to win to make the playoffs.
Either way, we can’t see the Melbourne Renegades putting up much of a fight. They have been disappointing for most of the season, and that’s unlikely to change now.
Bet: Hobart Hurricanes to win @ $1.67

Melbourne Stars vs. Sydney Sixers @ MCG
The Melbourne Stars were the pre-season favourites to win the Big Bash League, but they have had a dismal season.
They won’t make the playoffs with a record of five wins and seven losses, so they are playing for pride on Tuesday night.
This game is more about the Sydney Sixers, who are chasing the top spot and looking to hold onto a top-two spot for an extra life.
Sydney didn’t help its chances when losing to Hobart on Sunday night despite scoring 181 runs. It was a solid chase after Hobart scored 188 runs, so we’ll give them credit for the performance.
Bookmakers have installed the Sixers as $1.80 favourites, and there is good value in that price. We priced Sydney at $1.60, but bookies credit the talented lineup of the Stars.
We suggest taking Sydney to win, as they have been one of the best teams throughout the season.
Bet: Sydney Sixers to win @ $1.80
