gobet richmond vs west coast afl tips

We have Richmond vs. West Coast predictions for the game this Sunday May 11 at 1:10pm, where one of the cellar dwellers will get a win.

The latest AFL odds have Richmond at $1.52 to win outright, and it has looked the better of them so far in 2025.

Richmond vs. West Coast Predictions

Best Bet

Richmond –11.5 @ $1.90

Boasting two wins compared to no wins for West Coast, the Tigers should be tough to beat on Sunday. They scored upsets wins over Carlton and Gold Coast, and they’re not easy teams to take down, so credit for Richmond showing some passion.

It will need to play better than what we saw against Hawthorn last week, but West Coast is a terrible team and covering the –11.5 spread against the 18th-placed team shouldn’t be too hard. The Eagles pushed Essendon close three weeks ago, but that’s the only impressive performance they have produced.

A Richmond team anywhere near its best should win comfortably, and the current AFL lines are generous for the home side.

Same Game Multi

Richmond –11.5, Tom J. Lynch 2+ Goals, Jacob Hopper 25+ Disposals, Total Match Points Under 172.5 @ $7.00

We’re backing Richmond to cover the –11.5 spread and the game to go under 172.5 points. We expect the Tigers to score points, but West Coast has posted totals of 76, 74, 75, 50, and 51 from its last five games, so there are no signs of life for its offence.

Richmond doesn’t always score big totals either and it often relies on its defence. Bookmakers think the offence could fire up with two poor teams, but it should be a low-scoring affair.

Tom J. Lynch cost punters a bit last week when not scoring a goal. However, he’s a quality goal scorer for the Tigers, and he’s a $1.50 chance to score 2+ goals. If you want more value, back him to score 3+ at healthier odds of $2.55.

Jacob Hopper pays $1.52 for 25+ disposals, and he should be kept busy in defence. He had 28 last week in a losing effort, and West Coast should give him ample chance to clear the ball.

Best Value Bet

Richmond Wire-to-Wire @ $2.40

There is good value with wire-to-wire markets in Round 9 and Richmond is another great value pick.

Backing West Coast is akin to throwing money away, and Richmond should strike early and never be headed throughout the game.

We would have been prepared to take around $2.10, so getting $2.40 classifies as an AFL value pick.
