We have GWS vs. Gold Coast predictions for action on Sunday June 22 at 1:10pm at ENGIE Stadium.
It’s one of the closest betting markets of the week with Gold Coast paying $1.81 to win.
GWS vs. Gold Coast Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Giants have won their last three games against Gold Coast, and we believe they can win another. They have three wins from their last four games, and that form is good enough to beat the struggling SUNS.
Gold Coast comes off consecutive losses to Fremantle and Geelong, where they scored just 101 points combined. That’s not good enough on offence, and GWS could take advantage with a decisive victory on Sunday.
We’re surprised by the $1.81 head-to-head odds considering GWS comes off a win over Brisbane. Beating last year’s champs is a good form guide, and although they can be inconsistent, GWS is a better team than Gold Coast. They have the same 8-4 record, but we believe the Giants could push for a top four spot.

Same Game Multi
Jesse Hogan is a goal-scoring freak for GWS. He has 13 goals from his last five games, including kicking six against Brisbane last week. That’s an excellent form guide, and punters get value odds for the Giants forward to kick 3+ goals.
Take the $2.20 for a three-goal performance, which is slightly better odds than the $1.99 for Aaron Cadman to kick 2+ goals. Cadman scored five goals last week, and he has 11 from his last five games, so the statistics back our goal scorer picks this week.
Over 161.5 is also included in our AFL same game multi picks. We predict the Giants scoring plenty of points, as they did last week, and a repeat of that performance could be on the cards. They scored 206 points in one of their meetings last year, so use that as a form reference.

Best Value Bet
We believe bookmakers have GWS too long in the betting, so we’re taking advantage by backing them to win wire-to-wire.
They could get off to a fast start at home and never look back and getting $3.05 odds are too juicy to pass up in this situation.
Gold Coast isn’t playing well, so look for GWS to jump on them early.
