It won’t be easy to beat Geelong coming off four consecutive wins, but Essendon gets a +28.5 start. That’s a sizable start for a team that has already beaten Geelong in 2025 when recording a 104-83 win in February.

Pressure is on Essendon to perform as it sits outside the top eight in 10^th on the ladder, and although it might not win outright, it should be a close contest at the MCG. We priced Essendon at around +22.5, so take the generous line.
