We would have been prepared to take Collingwood at –40.5 against St Kilda, especially based on recent form. The Magpies might have only just got past Melbourne when winning 72-71, but they looked good when beating Hawthorn 107-56.

If they can beat the Hawkes by 51 points, they can put the hurt on St Kilda, which comes off a 132-60 loss to the Western Bulldogs. That was a terrible effort, and they were also beaten by West Coast 108-80 four weeks ago, which is a shocking loss.

Nothing is going well for the Saints, and with Collingwood currently leading the AFL, there is a massive class edge to the home team. Take the –30.5 line before it moves throughout the week. It could move to around –34.5, so snap up the generous offering with AFL odds.

Brody Mihocek could have a field day in front of goal for the Magpies. He had only one goal last week, but that came after six goals from his previous two games, so he’s capable of kicking multiple goals, especially against St Kilda.

Punters get $1.73 for Mihocek to score 2+ goals, which is an excellent price. He could finish with 3-4 goals, so include him in same game multis.

Steele Sidebottom pays $2.12 to have 25+ disposals. He comes off totals of 25, 27, 22, 7, and 25, so his recent efforts have been good. He should get plenty of work against the Saints, so include the generous AFL odds.

We’re including under 170.5 because we can’t see St Kilda scoring a big total. It scored only 60 points against Melbourne, so scoring big against Collingwood is unlikely.
