The Magpies lost to Brisbane, Hawthorn, and Adelaide, so they took on some of the toughest teams in the competition, and facing Melbourne will be a much easier task. Melbourne comes off consecutive losses, and it’s tough to know what it’s going to produce.

Collingwood scored only 56 points against Adelaide, but the positive was allowing only 59 points. A similar defensive performance should be enough to put up a big total on Melbourne, who could already have their holiday plans booked.
