We have Collingwood vs. Brisbane predictions for AFL Preliminary Finals on Saturday September 20 at 7:15pm at the MCG.
Either the Magpies or Lions will make the AFL Grand Final, and we’re backing the Lions to cause an upset on the road.
Collingwood vs. Brisbane Predictions

Best Bet
We love the way Brisbane bounces back from a loss, and although it comes off a win over Gold Coast, the confidence levels should be sky high.
The Lions didn’t fire against Geelong, but beating the SUNS 100-47 was an excellent demonstration of their defensive capabilities. The defending champions could stifle Collingwood’s attack, which was the case when they met last month.
They won 92-65 at the MCG, so if Brisbane is anywhere near that level, it’s good enough to send the Magpies out of the finals. We’re picking it to happen, and punters get generous odds of $2.15, which could shorten.
Take the value with the road team, who looks to make the grand final in consecutive years, and that experience could be too much for Collingwood.

Same Game Multi
There weren’t many points scored in their first meeting this year, and this game should be no different. We expect Brisbane to limit the Magpies to under 80 points, and that should be enough for the under to cash.
We like Logan Morris and Kai Lohmann to score 2+ goals for Brisbane. Morris scored two goals last week, making it 11 goals from his last five games, and he’s ready to go to another level in the preliminary finals.
Lohmann is another player who has stepped up when it counted. He has nine goals from his last four games, and punters get $2.25 for a 2+ goal performance. That’s excellent value for a player who has ignited Brisbane’s offence.

Best Value Bet
Brisbane should look to come out all guns blazing on Saturday, and getting $2.70 for a halftime/fulltime result is good shopping.
The Lions like to put pressure on in the opening quarter, which could lead the Magpies into making simple turnovers. If Brisbane tackles well, it could take a two-goal lead into the second quarter and never look back.
It’s a good AFL value bet, and as we expect money to come for Brisbane throughout the week, it’s best to jump on the odds now.
