North Melbourne is playing some of its best footy in years after posting a win over West Coast followed by a six-point loss to Fremantle. Those are good efforts, and having two wins and a draw from their last five games is good for the Kangaroos.

They don’t get as many inside 50s as the Blues, but they have more clearances and there isn’t a big difference in disposal numbers. North Melbourne just needs to be more accurate with their forward 50 balls to make an impact.

Getting a +24.5 start is a good line with AFL odds, and although betting on North Melbourne consistently isn’t typically a wise move, punters have cashed in lately and the run could continue.

Punters get $1.88 for Willams to score 2+ goals and $1.75 for Nick Larkey to score a double for the Kangaroos. He scored three against Fremantle last week, and Freo’s defence is often tough to score on. Those odds are worth including in AFL same game multis, and the odds are better than expected.

Over 165.5 is a good line considering they scored 225 points in their meeting earlier this year. That followed 195 points in their 2024 meeting, so bookmakers might have the number far too generous for over backers.
