We have expert betting tips for AFL Brownlow Medal, including Brownlow Medal winner, Top 3 Finish, Brownlow Quinella, and Most 3-Vote Games.
It could come down to a three-player race with Nick Daicos, Bailey Smith, and Jordan Dawson, so it will be a thrilling night on Monday September 22.
AFL Brownlow Medal Tips & Predictions
—
Brownlow Medal Winner
It’s going to be a close race for the Brownlow Medal, but given the way Nick Daicos ended the year, he could pip them on the post.
We almost made Jordan Dawson our top pick, and many AFL Brownlow predictors have him winning at $6.50. However, we found better value with Dawson in another betting market, so we’re going with Daicos to win the honour.
He had a slow start to the year, which likely saw him collect only three points from the first four rounds. However, he was electric for Collingwood in rounds 15-20, which is where he might have made his Brownlow Medal-winning run.
The $2.50 odds are worth including in picks, and those odds could firm over the weekend.

Top 3 Finish
We considering backing Dawson to win outright at much better odds, but the $1.90 should be safe bet, and the odds are better than expected.
The main worry is Noah Anderson making a late charge, but based on our Brownlow Medal predictors, Dawson should have done enough early to get the job done.
A lot depends on if Dawson scored a vote in round 23. If he secures that point, that could be enough to see him finish in the top three. He had a great start with two excellent games for Adelaide, and he’s also a shout for most three-vote games.
Take the $1.90 and include him in AFL multis this week.

Brownlow Quinella
The current favourites are Bailey Smith and Daicos, but we’re going with Dawson/Daicos. They are our top two picks to win the Brownlow Medal, so it only makes sense for us to back them for the quinella option.
Punters get $6, which is a value price, and although Brownlow Medal night can throw in some surprise results, we would be surprised if they didn’t look like the top two chances at some stage during the evening.
—
Most 3-Vote Games
It’s not all about Dawson, but our Brownlow predictor has him scoring the most 3-vote games for the 2025 AFL season.
He was an outstanding player for Adelaide, and he was consistent throughout the year. The only worry is if our projected 3-vote games get downgraded to 2-vote games, but in our opinion, he was the standout player for the Crows.
—
Most Votes Last 8 Rounds
One player who made a massive impact in the last eight rounds was Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera. The youngster for St Kilda was their standout player, and that’s reflected with our predictor.
We had him scoring six 3-vote games from the last eight weeks, and although he likely went scoreless in two of those weeks, he should have accumulated enough points in those rounds to win this AFL betting option.
Marcus Bontempelli is the $3 joint favourite, but we had him scoring 13 points in the last eight rounds compared to 18 for Wanganeen-Milera. Therefore, the $3 odds for Wanganeen-Milera are an excellent price with AFL odds.
