Seldom has the A-League table been so hotly contested, with a mere eight points separating Auckland FC in top spot and Perth Glory in tenth.

League leaders Auckland fell to champions Melbourne City last time out, with plenty of sides in the upper echelons of the table struggling for consistency at the moment.

Form has seriously begun to elude Western Sydney Wanderers and Central Coast Mariners down at the bottom of the pile, but both sides have enough time to turn things around this term.
